CAN
Navigator - Master of the Wireless
Network
CAN Navigator is a powerful software application developed for the
management of the Wired /Wireless CAN-Bus network. It can run on
any work station which in the network connected to the master coordinator.
With powerful CAN Navigator we can configure CAN Nodes, acquisition
data from CAN-Bus network, define parameters and calibrate them,
forward data to upper systems like mudlogging systems, MWD/LWD,
drilling monitor system,etc. Functions of expandable WITS interface
are useful. CANNavi also has utility to define new user parameters
based on parameters we have got; it¨s useful in production practice.

As the picture shows to us, The work area
is divided into 3 views: Devices View, Parameters View and User
Parameters View.
Devices
View is a tree view that displays the hierarchy of all Devices in
the Wired/ Wireless network, CANNavi provides the whole property
configuration of these device nodes. Such as setting up Serial ID,
Devie ID, DAQ interval, to search, add and detele diveces etc.
Parameters
View lists all parameters which the current system monitoring, we
can name them, configure their units, set up their wits property,
and also do calibration work.
User Parameters
View shows all user¨s self-defined parameters and they are derived
from current monitoring parameters. With this utility, we can produce
a lot of useful parameters as well as transfer them to other system
in WITS format.
